Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all products sold through our website, www.hillycorn.com. By purchasing any of our products, you agree to accept and abide by these terms and conditions.

1. Who We Are

Hillycorn Teas (www.hillycorn.com) is a website (the "Website") owned and operated by Hillycorn Group. We are based in Tripura, India, and our registered office is at: PO Road, Dharmanagar - 799250, Tripura, India.

2. Ordering and Dispatch

You may place an order for our products either through our website or via phone.

Upon receiving your order, we will send an email confirmation signifying our acceptance of your order.

Once we receive your payment, we will send an email confirming payment receipt and order dispatch details.

For wholesale orders, we often procure on demand to ensure maximum freshness and quality. Dispatch for such orders may take 3-5 working days. We recommend placing orders in advance to accommodate this timeframe.

We reserve the right to cancel any order and issue a full refund before dispatch if the product is unavailable or for any other reason.

3. Delivery

We aim to ship all retail orders placed before 12 p.m. IST on the next working day. However, in exceptional cases, order processing may take up to 3 working days.

Orders are typically dispatched within 24 hours of payment clearance, with delivery times within India ranging from 5-7 working days depending on the shipping method selected (if optional).

If a product is out of stock, we will inform you of the delay and dispatch it as soon as it becomes available.

We do not ship Orthodox Tea outside India due to high shipping costs. If you require shipping outside India, please contact us for a custom quote.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices listed on our website are subject to change. However, any price changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

Prices displayed on our website include GST and shipping costs (only eligible products), non-eligible products shipping charges will be added at checkout.

We strive for accurate pricing; however, in the event of an incorrect price, we will notify you before accepting the order. You may choose to proceed with the revised price or cancel the order.

All payments must be made before dispatch using credit cards, debit cards, net banking or UPI methods. We accept all major credit and debit cards.

For wholesale deliveries within India, payments can be made via bank transfer within 15 days of delivery. Late payments will incur interest charges.

5. Contract Between You and Hillycorn

Once you place an order, you will receive an email from Hillycorn acknowledging receipt of your order. Please note that this acknowledgement does not confirm order acceptance. Your order is an offer to purchase a product from Hillycorn listed on the Hillycorn platform. Acceptance of your order is solely based upon the discretion of the company policy and T&C (availability or quantity of order received or depends upon other factors which is under consideration), which will be confirmed by sending a dispatch confirmation email.

A contract between you and Hillycorn will only be established when you receive this dispatch confirmation. This contract will cover only the products listed in that confirmation. Any other products in your order will be processed and confirmed separately.

6. Payment and Security

Never share your card details, passwords, or OTPs with anyone. Hillycorn will never ask for sensitive payment information over a call or unsolicited message. Please report any suspicious activity to us immediately.

Hillycorn does not store any payment information. All payment data is processed securely by our third-party payment providers (such as Razorpay, Stripe, etc.). If you opt to save your payment details, it is with these providers, and any liability for data breaches on their part does not rest with Hillycorn.

For card transactions, you must use your own card. Hillycorn will not be held responsible for any misuse or fraud — any such liability rests solely with the user, who will be required to prove otherwise.

7. Trademarks

All trademarks, brand names and service marks displayed on Hillycorn's website are the property of Hillycorn Group. No part of this website grants the right or license to use any of these marks without prior written consent from the respective owner.

8. External Links

For your convenience, Hillycorn provides links on product pages that redirect you to third-party platforms such as Amazon and Flipkart for purchasing. Please note that these external websites are beyond our control after a certain limit, and Hillycorn is not responsible for the content, policies, pricing, availability, or customer experience on these platforms.

By clicking on these links, you understand and agree that any transaction, communication, or dispute that arises on Amazon, Flipkart, or any other third-party site is solely between you and the respective platform. We strongly recommend reviewing their terms and conditions before proceeding with any purchase.

10. Hillycorn Refund Policy

If you receive a defective product, we will issue a full refund (only after internal quality checks, customers must provide the necessary proof to support their refund request), including standard shipping costs for the return. However, we cannot accept returns for opened or used products. All refunds will be processed via bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS).

11. Limitation of Liability

Hillycorn is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury — whether direct or indirect — arising from the use of our platform, services, or content. This includes any issues related to access, delays, interruptions, or data transmission errors.

We also do not accept liability for actions taken based on website content, nor for any issues related to external data or third-party content providers.

12. Use of the Website

We make no representations that the information available on the Hillycorn website is suitable or legal for use outside of India. By accessing our platform, you confirm that you are legally permitted to do so and accept full responsibility for your use of any information or services provided.

13. Shelf Life and Storage Conditions

The tea we provide has a shelf life of 24 months due to our high-quality packaging materials and airtight-sealing process.

To maintain tea quality, store it in airtight containers, away from moisture, heat, and strong food odors.

Store tea in a cool and dry place. Freezing is not recommended as it may reduce the tea's lifespan.

14. Health Claim Disclaimer

The information provided on our website, including but not limited to descriptions, articles, blogs, testimonials, and product labels, is intended solely for general informational and educational purposes.

We sell a variety of black, herbal, green, white, oolong and other healthy teas, and while many of these teas have been traditionally associated with wellness benefits, we do not make any medical claims regarding their effectiveness or guarantee any specific health outcomes.

15. Loyalty Points Program

Hillycorn may offer a Loyalty Points program where customers can earn points on eligible purchases made through our website. These points can be redeemed against future purchases on the platform, subject to the following terms:

Loyalty Points will be credited to your Hillycorn account after a successful and completed transaction.

These points can be applied to your next eligible purchase, with a limit on how many points can be redeemed per order.

The value of each Loyalty Point and the maximum limit per transaction will be defined and updated by Hillycorn from time to time.

Loyalty Points are non-transferable, non-exchangeable for cash, and have no monetary value unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Hillycorn reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Loyalty Points program at any time without prior notice.

Misuse or suspicious activity related to Loyalty Points may result in the cancellation of points or the deactivation of your account at Hillycorn's discretion.

16. Modifications to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions as needed due to changes in policies, business operations, or legal requirements.

The version of the Terms & Conditions in force at the time of your order will apply unless required otherwise by law or governmental authority.

We reserve the right to take action of suspension of the account or other appropriate legal actions against any user if involved in any misuse or suspicious or any illegal activity related to the company website contents, products, trademarks, or any intellectual property as per the government law.
